ATS-04 Speed Sensing™ Self-Canceling Turn Signal Module, universal firment and fits (Sportster 1973-1991) (FX 1973-1989) (FL 1973-1986) or any custom motorcycle.
Self-cancels after 30-seconds for motorcycles with cable driven speedometer or will self-cancel similar to OEM module when installed on a motorcycle with an electronic speed sensor.

- Works with momentary switches (if using latching switches, the button will need to be pressed again after the signal cancels in order to reset the module.)

ATS-04 Improvements
Uses a speed-sensing self-cancel algorithm on most motorcycles equipped with an electronic speed sensor.
Keeps the turn signal flashing while stopped (for example at a traffic light) and begins the cancel countdown once the motorcycle exceeds roughly 7 mph.
If your speed comes down below 7 mph while the turn signals are still flashing, the module will keep flashing until the bike exceeds 7 mph and the countdown starts again.
Provides more OEM-like cancellation behavior than a simple timer.
If no speed sensor is connected (such as on older Harley-Davidsons with cable-driven speedometers), it automatically switches to a 30-second timer-based cancellation mode.
Practical Difference
If you’re riding an older Harley or custom bike and just want automatic cancellation and LED compatibility, the ATS-03 does the job well.
If you want turn signals that behave more like modern OEM systems—staying on while stopped and canceling based on actual vehicle movement—the ATS-04 is the more advanced module and is generally considered the successor to the ATS-03. With both boasting the industry’s very first LIFETIME WARRANTY and the only module made in America upgrading makes perfect sense!
