The PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) Technology are factually chambered high-flow catalysts.
Used to increase mid-range torque for more responsive acceleration off the line. They are positioned downstream for up to 20% less heat at the floorboards / footpegs and 50% less heat at the collector, to optimize rider comfort over the stock system.
PCX™ technology uses a high-flow double-matrix catalyst that improves torque delivery through the mid-range for more responsive acceleration. All while producing an even deeper full-throated rumble, all with no compromise to the styling of any Vance & Hines exhaust system.
Tech-Tip: Pre-2021 USA mufflers on a 2021-up Softail/Touring? The FuelPak FP4 (part number 942227) allows you to disable the 2nd.
O2 sensor in the muffler, or in the balance pipe of the cross-over section, without triggering trouble codes.
This will enable you to use exhaust mufflers for earlier/US models that are not equipped with an O2 sensor connection.
IMPORTANT: On 2021-up UK, EU and international models Harley introduced additional O2 sensors located towards the end of the mufflers. These additional O2 sensors need to be eliminated using the Vance & Hines FP4 Fuelpak (Part # 66043) and blanking plugs (Part # 744444) on our website. Alternatively, you can contact your local HD dealership for advice on this issue as they may be able to eliminate the O2 sensors for you.
