Upgrade early bikes with new hydraulic lifters for improved timing, aftermarket clutch kits to get into gear effortlessly, or big bore pistons to increase displacement and add even more power. Follow up with cam and sprocket upgrades, and add more spark with aftermarket coils. For styling and comfort improvements, consider replacing old seats, changing stock controls and adding extras like luggage racks and brackets to carry more essential on longer rides.
