Finding parts for that perfect restoration project can be difficult. Especially for older bikes like first generation Sportsters. Consider new carburetors, manifolds and air intakes, change worn motor and transmission sprockets, and improves shifting with a new clutch kit. Get smooth starting and ignition with new contact points, coils and regulators, renew near-flat batteries with chargers, and change fouled or damaged spark plugs for cleaner throttle response. Also consider new seats, better fork springs and drum-to-disc conversions for shorter stopping distances.
