Parts for 1978 HARLEY DAVIDSON XLT - Sportster Touring
Baby Dreesers or the Sportster XLT Touring of the late 70s were special orders differentiated by the bigger tanks and plusher seats among other things from the regular model. As such they're a hard find today and worth restoring. Consider bringing back the engine to mint condition with replacement aftermarket carbs and air cleaners, high-flow inlet manifolds, transmission and motor sprockets and upgraded clutch kits. Also bring back older bodywork with new fenders, forks or gas tanks, upgrade to new wheels and stickier rubber and consider windshields for added touring comfort.
