Parts for 1988 HARLEY DAVIDSON FXR - Super Glide
The Super Glide with the carburetted 1340cc engine is reliable, but may need new gaskets, seals, O-rings and bearings for smoother operation. Well-maintained bikes can add more power with stage 1 tunes and carb rejets and bigger cleaners mated to high-flow exhausts. Convert the 88-ci engine to higher capacity with big bore kits to increase power and torque, add more bite to the brakes with new pads and rotors, and tweak the handling with progressive-rate springs and shocks. Spend the rest of your cash on more comfort with upgraded seats and seat accessories, add visibility with LED lighting, and personalise your ride with the dozens of styling extras.
