Parts for 2004 HARLEY DAVIDSON XL 883 C - Sportster Custom
Harley-Davidson added front and rear motor mounts and stabilisers to the 883 and 1200cc Sportsters in mid 2000 models, killing excessive vibrations and providing riders with a comfier, more controlled ride. The smaller engined model can see power upgrades with aftermarket carbs and intakes and better pipes, or match the power of its bigger brother with a 1200cc conversion kit. Riders who want more cruising comfort should look to thicker padding and more lumbar support in aftermarket seats, more composure with progressive springs and matching shocks, and reduced buffetting at highway speeds with a well-appointed windshield. Styling changes like bodywork and the lights will make the bike your own, while better brakes and grippier tyres build confidence.
