96 inches may sound small by today's standards, but the engine in slightly older Sportster Low Rider models is torque-ready and willing. Liven it up with a performance camshaft, spread the torque with a bigger, multi-plate clutch kit and a revised final drive belt (or chain) pulley and enjoy a more spirited, faster-accelerating bike. You may also want to redo the suspension with progressive springs and shocks, add more cushioning to the stock seat, and add aesthetic touches like chromed fork tubes, new front and rear fenders, lowered handlebars or blacked-out mini fairings.
